1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using pg-squash ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

The Service is provided by pg-squash ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

pg-squash is an automatic PostgreSQL migration optimization and cleanup service. The Service includes:

→Open-source CLI tool (MIT License)
→Web-based analysis and optimization platform
→GitHub App integration
→API access (paid tiers)

3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for:

•Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
•All activities that occur under your account
•Reviewing all migration changes before applying to production
•Maintaining backups of your database
•Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree NOT to:

✕Use the Service for any illegal purpose
✕Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
✕Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
✕Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
✕Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

5. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

•The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
•All defects will be corrected
•The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
•Results from using the Service will meet your requirements

While we perform Docker validation and extensive testing, you are solely responsible for reviewing all changes before applying them to your database.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

•Loss of profits or revenue
•Loss of data
•Business interruption
•Database corruption or data loss

7. PAYMENT AND BILLING

For paid tiers:

✓Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
✓All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
✓You may cancel your subscription at any time
✓We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

8. TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

•Breach of these Terms
•Request by law enforcement or government
•Discontinuation of the Service
•Technical or security issues

9. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
